ABOUT
Ruth G. Cohen
Welcome!
I’m Ruth G. Cohen, a pediatric occupational therapist dedicated to coaching and supporting parents and caregivers of infants and young children. My goal is to help you feel confident, informed, and connected as you support your child’s growth and development.
Through a warm, family-centered approach, I offer practical strategies you can use in daily life to help navigate challenges such as motor milestones, sensory processing, self-regulation, sleep and feeding routines.
Together, we’ll focus on understanding your child’s unique needs and finding ways to make progress feel joyful, empowering, and meaningful for both you and your little one.

Compassionate and
Judgement-Free
Parenting can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you’re trying to support your child’s unique needs. My approach is grounded in empathy, trust, and understanding, not judgment. Together, we’ll create a safe space where you can share openly and feel supported every step of the way.
Simple and Flexible
Life with young children is busy, and I believe support should fit easily into your family’s routine. Sessions are flexible and designed to meet you where you are - whether that means a full consultation, a shorter check-in, or live observation. You’ll always leave with practical, easy-to-use strategies that work in real life.

Every child - and every family - is different. That’s why each session is tailored to your child’s individual strengths, challenges, and interests. I focus on what matters most to you, blending professional expertise with a family-centered approach so progress feels natural, achievable, and meaningful.
